PIRELLI PZERO RACE TLR RETRO TYRE

P ZERO Race TLR Retrò with its cream colour side wall shares all the same technical features of the P ZERO Race TLR the most performing tyre in our portfolio as well as being the first tyre with a tubeless technology entirely made in Italy. 

The introduction of the new SPEEDCORE technology in the 120tpi casing, features the use of a layer of rubber compound mixed with aramid particles which cover the inner layer of the tyre.  The greater flexibility of the rubber compound improves the smoothness and cut resistance of the tyre. Result: a less stiff but faster tyre. The compound, on the other hand, maintains the same advanced SmartEVO technology, shared with the other high-performance tyres in the P ZERO range.

Carcass: The highest-performing tubeless-ready road casing in our range, with a unique design that adds an aramid band within the tyre’s rubber layer. This new structure adds strength and support to the tyre casing but retains a supple feel for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip, compared to a tyre with a full bead-to-bead aramid construction. The tyre also features a 120tpi nylon casing for added puncture protection and maximum security.

Compound: The SmartEVO Compound features a single-compound formulation based on three different polymers, each of which provide opposite performances in the perfect blend resulting in better grip and rolling resistance in all weather conditions.  The experience of motorsport competitions and collaborations with World Tour teams has led to our best road cycling compound ever.

P ZERO™ Race TLR Retrò 700 x 28C and P ZERO™ Race TLR Retrò 700x30C are compatible with hookless rims according to ETRTO 5bar/73psi max pressure limitations.
